Alexander Nikolaidis has been a Network Planner at Meta for ten years. He is responsible for long-term demand forecasting, backbone network architecture, investment planning, and multi-layer topology modeling and simulation. Alexander has worked on the topology design, timing, and technology selection of Meta's self-built cables globally. Prior to joining Meta, Alexander worked at Ciena in the office of the CTO, investigating new transport network achitectures and improving simulation and planning tools.
