David Walker earned a first-class degree in Ocean Exploration and Surveying from the University of Plymouth. He began his career working as a Hydrographic Surveyor for an unmanned surface vehicle company in Exeter before relocating to London in 2022 to work for Alcatel Submarine Networks as a Cable Route Engineer. Here he has successfully led critical route engineering activities, including desk top studies, cable burial assessments, integrity planning, and managing offshore survey operations.
