Emilio Bravi obtained PhD in Physics from University College Cork (Ireland). He has expertise in optical communication with 20+ years of experience in Optical Networks R&D, Architectures, Modeling and Pre-sale, both Terrestrial and Submarine applications.   He holds several US patents and has authored several publications. He is currently leading the Network Solutions Group for long-haul and Subsea at Nokia.
