Matthew has worked for Global Marine Group since 2012. He leads the Route Planning Team within the OceanIQ business unit that carries out Desktop Studies and other consultancy work. He has worked worldwide engineering and surveying cable routes. Highlights include planning a telecoms cable route to Antarctica, a scientific cable observatory in southeast Asia, engineering the inter-array cable routes for the world’s first high-capacity floating offshore wind farm and designing the route of what will be the world’s longest power interconnector from Morocco to the UK.
