Mick commenced his career with Standard Telephones & Cables in 1985 as a transmission engineer in fiber optics for terrestrial network build. He moved to the submarine division in 1988 and held various positions within the Marine installation department both offshore and onshore installing & commissioning the new network builds. After being acquired by Alcatel he was appointed Strategic Projects Director for the implementation of large consortium type projects and also spent a few years as regional Sales Manager for Africa, India and Northern Europe. In 2009 Mick was appointed as Director of Projects responsible for the contract management of ASN project implementation. Mick is now the General Manager Marine Operations responsible for the ASN marine fleet and ancillary services for system implementation and marine maintenance operations. Mick is currently the ASN representative on the Executive Committee of the ICPC. 
Mick holds an Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree from the University of Liverpool (UK).
