Route Position

Oli is the Managing Director at Route Position, a consultancy specialising in supporting subsea telecoms cable planning and implementation. Oli started offshore in 2007, working in commercial seabed survey, offshore construction and metocean projects for the energy sector before joining the subsea cable industry in 2016. In his MD role, Oli actively works as a ‘Technical Program Manager’ and strategist for prospective cable system owners; de-risking and overseeing the engineering, permitting and installation of new subsea cable systems. He’s been involved in the implementation of dozens of installed cable systems around the world, and currently resides in New Jersey, USA.
